General Liability

For the Termite & Pest Control Industry, limits start at $300,000 Per Occurrence and $600,000 General Aggregate.

Commercial Auto

Auto Liability Insurance is required by law for individuals and for businesses and Comprehensive and Collision coverage may be required by a lender on an auto loan. Car insurance is mandated for good reason – if you get into an accident, you and the other driver involved will be thankful you have coverage.

Depending on the coverages selected Commercial Auto coverage may provide coverage for liability (protection against claims by third parties), comprehensive and collision (to your vehicle), Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage, PIP coverage (required in some states), medical payments coverage, and Hired & Non-Owned Liability coverage for rented vehicles (used in the course of your business) or your employees’ personal vehicles while they are using them in the course of employment for your company. SPCB Bond

The California Structural Pest Control Board requires a License Bond in the amount of $4,000. This bond is in place to protect your company against any outstanding liens or payments filed by a third party in the even that you fail to make a payment (associated with your business) or fail to perform your services as listed in a written contract.

Excess Liability

This coverage is written on two different types of forms – Excess or Umbrella. Both types of coverage are designed, subject to the policy’s terms and conditions, to provide coverage above the coverages provided on your primary Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto, and/or Employer’s Liability policies. This coverage is designed to be utilized when your primary policy limits have been used for the payment of claims and, in some cases, to provide coverage, where your primary policy(s) may not.

Property & Inland Marine

Property insurance provides coverage for your Building or required by lease, Business Personal Property while located at your place of business from various perils, such as fire & theft. Business Personal Property can include Office Contents (including desk, filing cabinets, computers) as well as Stock & Inventory (subject to policy definitions, terms and conditions).

Inland Marine insurance can provide coverage for your equipment (not permanently attached to your vehicle) that is taken to jobsites (including tool boxes, tools, etc.)

Professional Liability

Professional Liability insurance, also known as Errors & Omissions, provides coverage for the rendering of or failure to render services (as specified in the policy). Such coverages protect you from third party claims for damages as a result of the services you have provided or failed to provide for them (in the event you are contracted to do such work). For Termite Inspections (WDI/O real estate inspections), such coverage is automatically included on your Commercial General Liability policy.
